A little over a year after launching its first branded TV with the Fire TV Omni line, Amazon is back with its new, improved, and smarter Fire TV Omni QLED series. The QLED series obviously packs a better picture, but the kicker is that these TVs can double as smart displays.
For those unaware, Amazon launched its own TV brand in 2021. It delivers the same great Amazon Fire TV experience we’ve seen on streaming sticks, only it’s baked right into the TV. And now, its second-generation TVs are better than ever.
Thanks to the upgrade to an advanced Quantum Dot (QLED) display, buyers can expect a bright, vivid picture, inky blacks, bright whites, beautiful colors, local dimming zones, and more. However, the real selling point is an optical sensor that will turn the TV on/off automatically, control an ambient art mode, and, more importantly, Amazon’s new “Ambient Experience” software.
