Here’s something weird; Porsche’s new soundbar is made from an original 922 GT3 exhaust system. And despite the fact that it looks like something from a scrapyard, the 911 Soundbar 2.0 Pro costs $12,000 and is surprisingly feature-rich.

The 911 Soundbar 2.0 Pro features Dolby Atmos compatibility and 2.1.2 Virtual Surround Sound software. It outputs sound at 300 watts, connects to TVs via 4K-compatible HDMI ARC ports, and offers wireless connectivity options like Bluetooth 5.0, AirPlay 2, and Chromecast.

Of course, the soundbar’s selling point is its outrageous design. I’m not sure that this design will appeal to anyone but the biggest car nerds, as again, it looks like a hunk of scrap metal. (You usually can’t see the Porsche 992 GT3’s full exhaust system, save for the tailpipes. That’s why the tailpipes are the only part of this speaker with a nice gunmetal finish.)
