How to Fold a Polo Shirt for Travel?

Folding a polo shirt properly for travel can help minimize wrinkles and save space in your luggage. Here's a simple method to ensure your polo shirt stays neat during your trip.

Start by laying the polo shirt face down on a flat surface, such as a bed or table. Make sure the shirt is smooth and free of wrinkles before you begin.

Next, fold the sleeves inward towards the center of the shirt. This should create a straight line along the sides. The sleeves can be folded flat against the back, or you can fold them at the shoulder seam to create a clean look.

Then, take the right side of the shirt and fold it over to the left, aligning the edges. The aim is to have a rectangular shape with the sides of the shirt meeting neatly in the middle.

Now, focus on the bottom of the shirt. Fold the hem up towards the collar so that the shirt is roughly in half. Depending on the length of the shirt and how much space you have, you might want to fold it one more time at this stage, especially if you're packing a small suitcase or bag.

Finally, smooth any remaining wrinkles out gently. You can stack the folded polo shirt vertically in your bag or lay it flat. If you have several shirts, stacking them horizontally can help save space and keep everything organized.

By following these steps, your polo shirt will be compact and less likely to wrinkle during your travels. Remember, always unpack and hang your shirts as soon as you reach your destination to help minimize any creases.
